5 Function Hospital Bed:

5 function hospital beds are special care ICU grade hospital beds - used by medical professionals. 5 Function Hospital Beds - in addition to the functions of 3 Function Hospital Beds has two more functions known as Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg Position. 

 

The Trendelenburg position uses gravity to assist in the filling and distension of the upper central veins, as well as the external jugular vein.

 

The Trendelenburg adjustment tilts the bed’s surface, lowering the head and raising the legs while the surface of the bed remains flat. The adjustment is named for the Trendelenburg Position, in which the patient is laid on their back on a 15–30-degree incline. The Reverse Trendelenburg tilts the bed in the opposite direction, raising the head and lowering the feet.
